Terminator-Single Volume Single Tone System with 5-Way Selector Switch for Dual Humbucker Modified (SVST-IBZM)
The Mad Hatter Solderless Single Volume Single Tone System with 5-Way Selector Switch for Dual Humbucker Modified (SVST-IBZM) is specially designed for instruments with two humbucker pickups utilizing a single volume control and a single tone control. The IBZM is a Modified version of our popular IBZ system.
The IBZM was the same settings as the IBZ system, but also incorporates a P/P Tone Pot that when engaged splits the humbuckers to offer single coils tones in all five position.
In standard mode the switch positions will be as follows:
Position 1 - Bridge Pickup Full Humbucker
Position 2 - Bridge & Neck Pickup Single Coils Towards Bridge
Position 3 - Bridge & Neck Pickups Full Humbucker
Position 4 - Bridge & Neck Pickup Single Coils Towards Neck
Position 5 - Neck Pickup Full Humbucker
In Modified mode with the IBZM P/P Pot engaged the switch positions will be as follows:
Position 1 - Bridge Pickup Split
Position 2 - Bridge & Neck Pickup Single Coils Towards Bridge
Position 3 - Bridge & Neck Pickups Split Inner Coils
Position 4 - Bridge & Neck Pickup Single Coils Towards Neck
Position 5 - Neck Pickup Split
System includes:
- One Terminator "Goes 2/11 Volume" Pot
- One Terminator IBZM P/P Tone Pot
- Mad Hatter Switchcraft Output Jack
- Terminator OakGrigsby 5-Way Selector Super Switch
- Two Polypropylene Tone Capacitors, a .022uF and a .047uF to help find just the right tone.
- Wiring Instructions for both Traditional and Synchronized Operation
Another option to the IBZM is the 4/25 System. It has the same functions as the IBZM System, but also changes the value of the volume pot from 500k to 250k when the P/P Pot is engaged. However, the 4/25 System does not offer Synchronized Operation capabilities.
